Social Media Manager | South United Football Club
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a social media strategy to enhance fan engagement and brand presence.
Manage and grow the club’s social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content, including graphics, videos, and live updates.
Monitor social media trends, fan interactions, and engagement metrics to optimize performance.
Collaborate with the content, marketing, and design teams to ensure consistent branding.
Plan and execute digital campaigns around matches, events, and sponsorships.
Engage with fans, respond to queries, and foster a strong online community.
Track and analyze social media performance, providing insights and reports.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and competitor activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing social media accounts, preferably in sports or entertainment.
Strong understanding of social media analytics, engagement strategies, and platform algorithms.
Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.) and basic graphic/video editing.
Excellent communication, storytelling, and creative thinking skills.
Passion for football and a deep understanding of fan engagement dynamics.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy sports environment.
