About
Founded in 2012, South United Football Club (SUFC) has grown into one of South India’s leading football institutions, combining professional excellence with a strong community focus. Based in Bengaluru, SUFC operates as both a premier professional club and an international-standard residential academy, dedicated to nurturing the next generation of footballers, coaches, and sports professionals.
At the heart of SUFC’s vision is the belief that India can be a global footballing nation — provided players are given the right infrastructure, pathways, and opportunities. Over the past decade, SUFC has trained 13,000+ players, with 79 representing their states in the Santosh Trophy, and several advancing to the ISL, I-League, and international clubs.
Our grassroots and academy programs focus not just on technical training, but also on building character, discipline, and leadership. Through the South United Sports Foundation (SUSF), we extend this mission further — developing infrastructure, supporting underprivileged talent, and creating access to football at every level.
Beyond training, SUFC is a hub for football education and innovation. We bring in global best practices in coaching, tactical development, and performance analysis, while also creating opportunities for players to grow through competitions, scouting networks, and international exposure.
Led by Owner & Director Sharan Parikh, SUFC is also deeply connected to the larger world of sports and business innovation, blending professionalism with creativity to leave a lasting impact. Club Vision
South United Football Club aims to develop a sustainable ecosystem for players, coaches, and professionals to express and perform at their best. SUFC looks to bring quality training and guidance to every aspiring footballer. South United Football Club provides a well-structured football programme for all and is establishing our own residential campus, with the aim to develop players through our well-planned programmes leading from the Academy to SUFC's Senior Team.

South United Football Club strongly believes in and has always considered the development of homegrown players a key element of the Club’s football strategy, and this approach has helped in creating a culture and identity for the Club. The Club has a strong belief in identifying and developing talent and providing openings for young players to become established professional players and try out for bigger leagues.
