About the Role

South United Football Club is looking for a creative and passionate Content Manager to lead the club’s digital storytelling and fan engagement initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that enhances the club’s brand, fosters engagement, and strengthens our connection with fans. You will create and manage content across various platforms, including social media, the club’s website, and marketing campaigns.

As a key member of the media and marketing team, you will work closely with designers, video editors, and stakeholders to produce high-quality multimedia content. You will engage with players, coaches, and fans to bring exclusive behind-the-scenes stories to life. Additionally, you will monitor content performance, analyze trends, and adapt strategies to maximize reach and engagement.

The ideal candidate should have a background in digital marketing, content creation, or sports media. Strong writing and editing skills, along with experience in social media management and analytics, are essential. A passion for football and a deep understanding of fan culture will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a content strategy that enhances the club’s brand and engagement.


Create, edit, and publish engaging content across social media, website, and other platforms.


Collaborate with the marketing and media teams to align content with campaigns.


Manage the club’s digital presence, ensuring consistency in tone and branding.


Plan and oversee multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and articles.


Engage with fans through compelling storytelling and interactive content.


Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools.


Coordinate with players, coaches, and stakeholders for exclusive content.


Stay updated on football industry trends and social media innovations.


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.


Proven experience in content creation, digital marketing, or sports media.


Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.


Proficiency in social media management tools and content analytics.


Knowledge of graphic design and video editing is a plus.


Passion for football and an understanding of fan engagement.


Ability to work in a fast-paced, sports-driven environment.
